Until recently,
cosmetic dentistry was limited to front teeth restorations That's
because tooth-coloured filling material in the past wasn't always
durable enough to withstand the tremendous biting forces required
by back teeth. 
CEREC®
restorations are made from ceramic, a substance that is particularly
compatible with the body. Two other materials of choice have been
silver/mercury or gold restorations. Neither offered an aesthetically
pleasing option.
You'll be
pleased to know that the extraordinary CEREC® system allows
us to create beautiful tooth-coloured restorations for both front
and back teeth. In some cases, larger fillings, such as crowns,
inlays or onlays, can take less than an hour to complete!
 The
CEREC® ceramic not only looks fabulous, but it has the same
characteristics as normal healthy dental enamel. It is similarly
hard wearing when undergoing the daily grinding of food.
Another big
advantage is that the CEREC® ceramics are so smooth, bacteria
do not stand a chance. This helps to maintain healthier gums.
Now you can have quality
dental  ceramic
fillings that match the colour and appearance of the rest of your
teeth. Inlays and onlays are a very conservative restoration of
a broken down tooth or may replace an existing large filling.
