Chipped, worn and disfigured
teeth can often be corrected with cosmetic bonding. Quite simply,
tooth-coloured filling materials are adhered to the missing portion
of the tooth or used to fill gaps or spaces. In some cases, cosmetic
bonding can be used to hide or change the colour of the teeth.

Bonding
is made from a tooth-coloured, putty-like composite material, as
opposed to hard porcelain. And instead of being crafted in a laboratory,
it is shaped to fit by the dentist, directly on the tooth, and set
hard under a laser light.

Bonding
Although
not as long-lasting as porcelain,
Cosmetic Bonding is the method of choice when an inmmediate result
with minimal cost is required. It is very conservative, and as you
can see, the results can be quite dramatic. In fact, many of our
patients report that this simple and relatively inexpensive procedure
has given them the confidence to smile for the first time in years!
