Dr John Wells BDS (Syd)

Dr
John Wells graduated from Sydney University in 1985. He has studied
extensively with world leaders in dentistry, human communication
technology, sales and marketing. He is the author of the book, Enhanced
Communication For Effective Case Presentation and a regular
feature writer for Australasian Dental Practice magazine.
Most recently,
Dr Wells has studied with the prestigious Las Vegas Institute (LVI)
in the United States. Dr Wells graduated from LVI in 2005, becoming
only the 7th Australian dentist to do so, joining an esteemed group
of almost 400 LVI graduates worldwide at the time. He is continuing
his studies with LVI, which offers the very latest in cutting edge
dental techniques for very complex dental restorative cases. It
is this area of dentistry, creating "Extreme" Smile
Makeovers, whilst utilising the complex skills of Neuromuscular
Dentistry that Dr Wells is most passionate about. His personal
motto is "Exceptional Dentistry
~ Exceptional Care!"
Dr Wells
has appeared on Good Medicine, Today, Foxtel,
This Day Tonight, and Radio 2GB to provide updates
on dental technology and advancements in dental procedures. Dr Wells
has also featured in magazines and news paper articles such as Cleo,
The Weekend Australian and numerous other local Penrith and
Nepean Districts area newspapers.
Dr Wells
is a past President and Treasurer of the Nepean and District
Dental Association and Member of the Australian Dental
Association. He has affiliations with various aesthetic dentistry
and dental implant study societies and is the founder and Chairman
of the Tri-States Dental Mastermind Study Group. He is
the co-founder and Chairman of the Guardian Dental Professional
Network. He has lectured nationally and internationally on
subjects ranging from aesthetic dentistry and CAD CAM dental ceramics
to practice management and the business of dentistry. Dr Wells is
also a graduate of Anthony Robbins' Life Mastery University,
where he studied human motivation and communication
Dr Wells
is the principal dentist of Simply Beautiful Smiles. Whilst
practicing general dentistry, he has a focused interest in cosmetic
and conservative dentistry, especially complex smile
makeovers, neuromuscular
dentistry, laser dentistry,
CAD CAM ceramic restorations
(CEREC technology) and Microdentistry.
He enjoys reading, traveling, weight training and movies. He is
married with two daughters and resides near Camden, NSW.
