If you have worn, chipped, discoloured, misaligned or mis-shapenteeth, SassySmiles® may be an option for you. SassySmiles is an affordable veneer system developed by our very own Cosmetic Dentist, Dr John Wells, with a large Sydney laboratory, and made right here in Sydney. It has been specifically designed to assist those on a budget though they are not suitable for all smile makeover cases. In ideal cases, when minimal preparation is required, they can be priced at approximately a third off the cost of traditional veneers.
SassySmiles veneers usually require minimum tooth preparation, over which the very thin porcelain veneer (as thin as 0.5mm - thinner even than the products made overseas) is bonded to the tooth. The porcelain used is the same beautiful, strong porcelain that is used for more traditional veneer systems. The veneers are natural looking and deceptively strong and resilient, and we can customise the veneers to give you that "Hollywood" blockbuster smile, or a naturally bright smile. The whole process can be finalised in just two weeks, much shorter than the similar veneer products that have to be made overseas.
The cost savings come about because of the minimum tooth preparation and time spent with the dentist. The laboratory is also able to make this type of veneer with less time spent by the technician. These costs savings are then passed onto our client.
This procedure usually requires just two visits over just two weeks and is very conservative.
