Implants with a Porcelain Bridge to Replace Missing Teeth

This wonderful lady in her seventies presented with a broken lower front tooth and complained of missing teeth, a space she didn’t like.  The gum had mostly healed, however she wasn’t wearing her denture to replace these teeth, as she found them uncomfortable. The white spot is the irritated gum over a broken root.

The space was not large enough for 2 dental implants so we placed one medium sized implant in the middle of the space and made a porcelain bridge with 2 teeth, which was fitted in place by a titanium screw. Some pink porcelain was added to blend the bridge into the gum.

A great result by Dr John Wells for a technically difficult-to-restore scenario.
