Neuromuscular Dentistry is the art and science of dentistry that uses the relationship between the jaw muscles, jaw bones, nerves and teeth to recreate the natural bite.
The goal of the Neuromuscular Dentist is to relax the muscles controlling jaw position to establish a jaw resting position upon which treatment considerations are based. This method of treatment is especially useful for rebuilding worn teeth and bad bites as well as treating TMD/TMJ.
