The ADA has developed its own comparator website for the dental component of extras policies which is freely available on their website Time2Switch Comparator. The tool compares the input Health Cover policy for value for money for a range of dental services (broken down for General Dental, Major Dental, Orthodontics and Endodontics. It gives a simple “thumbs up” or “thumbs down” icon over the various categories for your health fund.

As wanting dental cover is often a primary reason for taking up Extras Cover, it is certainly a worthwhile exercise just to see if your Health Fund Extras Cover is giving you value for money.
